If you are just looking for general fitness classes, cross training and MMAXFIT provide a full body interval-based workout, which is suitable for everyone. Boxing classes are a high impact workout, and are a great way to burn calories, release tension and have fun. If you are a woman and don’t feel like working out in a room full of sweaty men, Stockade has specialised women’s boxing and self-defence classes available, so you can enjoy your exercise in a supportive female-only environment.

Coaches and trainers

Stockade coaches and trainers are all qualified and highly experienced in their chosen discipline. Many of the coaches are highly successful sportspeople in their own right, and are dedicated to helping you achieve your goals, whatever level you are at.

Many of the coaches have trained Olympic and Commonwealth Games athletes, and Boxing Australia bases its elite program with The Stockade, in recognition of the superior facilities and quality of training.

Competitive athletes can benefit from this elite coaching. For beginners, and those who just want to improve their fitness and have fun, the trainers will encourage you to challenge yourself and work at a pace you feel comfortable with. Contact is optional for many of the combat sport classes, and even some of the sparring sessions, so there is no need to worry about getting bumps and bruises if you prefer not to.
